Aluminium window and door fabricator needed!

 

Our growing team now seeking a dedicated and reliable person to join us at our small family-owned and ran business located in Salisbury South.

This is an ongoing Full Time role for a reliable, skilled and physically capable fabricator with the potential to go full time after probation period.  

​

Our successful candidate will assist with the cutting and assembly of our windows & doors frames and complete a variety of tasks within our production area. 

​

Your duties:

• Cutting aluminium window and door frames

• Lift and move door and window frames

• Read and follow instructions accurately including read cutting sheets, fabrication reports etc...

• Fabricate/Assemble residential and commercial windows & door frames

• Operate punch tools, general machinery, power and hand tools

• Work collaboratively and sustainably within a team environment and unsupervised

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety

 

Preferred skills & experience:

• Experience in a similar role within the Aluminium windows and doors is desired but not essential. Will consider candidates with tooling experience - training can be provided to the right candidate

• Ability to handle electrical tools including Automatic Mitre Saw

• Be accurate and have good attention to detail and pride in work

• Familiarity with Wintec, ALSPEC and Capral Aluminium profiles will be an extreme advantage (but not essential)

• Commitment to quality, safety policies, procedures and work instructions

• Physically fit and punctual with eye for detail and good communications skills

• Own transport and current valid driver’s license to travel to and from work essential
